Her works have been presented at festivals and at live art venues such as Gessnerallee Zurich, Tanzhaus Zurich, Gâre du Nord Basel, ADC Geneva (Swiss Dance Days 2017), Usine Geneva, Südpol Lucerne, Brut Vienna, Sophiensaele Berlin, MDT Stockholm, Kampnagel Hamburg, Mousonturm Frankfurt, BoraBora Århus, Dansehallerne Copenhagen, ACC Gwanju (KOR), Zarya Center for Contemporary Art Wladiwostok (RUS), Art Safiental Biennale 2020 (CH).
Since 2012, she has been involved as a lecturer and researcher at institutions in Zurich, Bern, Berlin, and Moscow. In 2014, she has been awarded the annual prize for choreography and performance by the City of Zurich. From 2015-2017, she was Young Associated Artist for Tanzhaus Zürich, a program supported by Pro Helvetia.
During her residency, she will investigate the notion of death through a new painting/ dance piece called «Wreathing». This practice engages with European traditions of mourning, driven by the impossibility to grasp death. Life, the abstract painting so closely connected to death, meets dance and living, the process of ongoing movement and flux. Dance serves a living archive of individual and collective memories saving the artefacts from perpetual loss. «Wreathing» is part of an ongoing research under the title of OCEAN SERIES, dealing with topics of cultural appropriation through imagination, personal encounter and DIY practices in combination with a reflection and revived dedication to formalism.
